Norwegian developer Red Thread Games has today shared a new trailer for its upcoming mystery game Draugen, which lifts the lid on some of the game’s story details.
Set during the 1920s, Draugen is a first-person mystery game where players assume the role of Edward Harden as he searches for his missing sister Betty in rural Norway. Accompanying Edward is his young ward Lissie, and together they must overcome Edward’s fears in order to find Betty.
Described as a ‘Fjord Noir’ tale of mystery and suspense, Draugen is more than a quest for a missing woman; it’s also a story about an unusual friendship, a forsaken community, a family torn apart by secrets, and a man haunted by his own past.
You can watch the trailer below:
Draugen will launch in May on PC via Steam and GOG. PS4 and Xbox One versions are expected to launch later in 2019.
