The Las Vegas Sphere is a fun, if somewhat terrifyingly eldritch part of the Las Vegas experience – and every now and then, it gets utilised to do some awesome gaming stuff. While I am yet to see someone play Mario Kart on it, if you wish to partake in some fun PlayStation themed goodness you can take a gander at what Sony cooked up for their end of year celebration:

Considering the huge win by Astro Bot at The Game Awards just last week, it’s equal parts Sony fun and a teeny tiny bit of gloating – but also a ton of fun for the adork-able little bots to have their moment. For people actually in Las Vegas, it must be incredible to see the miniature microbots looking the size of a minivan – but they don’t have a malevolent spark in their core, so it’s hardly discomforting.
