Only a couple of months ago in September, Australia was graced with its very first DreamHack event. Following on from its successful three-day event at Rod Laver Arena, DreamHack has just announced that it will be returning quite soon in 2023. April 28 to 30, in fact!
Making the rounds internationally, DreamHack doubles as the host of various internationally renowned esports tournaments across many of the most excellent contemporary esports titles and a massive BYO PC LAN party. Hats off for keeping the good old days of bundling your unwieldy rig and its many components into the back of a car and praying it still works upon setting it up at the venue.
🇦🇺 Australia, we're coming back Down Under. Thankfully, you won't have to wait too long to see us again.

If this year’s esports lineup is anything to go by, we are likely to see the return of the Halo Championship Series, the League of Legends Circuit Oceania finals, and the phenomenally electric Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ESL Challenger series. If these stadium-packing extravaganzas don’t tickle your pickle, it is likely we will see the return of the Fighting Game Championships, featuring all the heavy hitters from Tekken 7 to Smash Bros and Street Fighter V.
A huge win for the Australian esports scene, expect to see Monster Energy returning and doling out free drinks on masse to keep audiences buzzing on the edge of their seats.
