Leaks Suggest A Zelda-Packed Nintendo Direct Is Coming This Month

The King of Red Lions and Midna could be gracing us soon

Rumours have begun to do the rounds about what the next Nintendo Direct will following last month’s Splatoon 3 Direct which offered a large amount of information regarding the upcoming shooter from Nintendo. There has been a mention of what’s to come from notable leaker, Jeff Grub, and Mike Minotti (Managing Editor of Games Beat) via the Game Mess podcast hosted by Grubb.

According to him, there will be “a lot of Zelda stuff at this thing,” a statement which was followed by “I think this is like a Zelda blowout for Nintendo.” Grubb continued to speculate that this coming month will be a month with a Direct, though he remains unsure whether it will be a larger direct like the aforementioned Splatoon Direct, a mini-direct full of smaller announcements, or even a Partner Direct. Grubb did backtrack on the Partner Direct rumour based on the presence of Twilight Princess and Wind Waker HD ports to the switch

Continuing on with the Nintendo discussion, both Grubb and Minetti claim that a Metroid Prime remaster was hidden under the belt of Nintendo’s unannounced repertoire. Minetti stated “The Metroid Prime thing seems like it should be happening,” which seems pretty declarative. There was the concession that it would be a lot of remasters to announce, but that could also be its theme.

There’s definitely more that the two discuss in the podcast itself, which you can listen to here.
