Developer Hexworks has revealed the content roadmap for Lords of the Fallen, highlighting the updates and additions coming to the game before the end of 2023.
Atop a list of enhancements that’ll be rolled out weekly, namely improvements to the game’s performance and balancing, the roadmap details a fairly healthy amount of new content coming to the Souslike. Having recently rolled out its Halloween event, Season of the Bleak, Hexworks has confirmed that two more events will take place between now and the end of the year.
As for specifics, the extensive roadmap shows that players can expect 12 new spells, new finisher attacks, various new armour sets, new questlines, and New Game Plus modifiers that are said to be a “first for the genre.” Lastly, the ability to remap your controller input is also on the cards, which is handy for those who like to tinker, or those who rely on remapping.
In our review, we said that “Lords of The Fallen delivers on the macabre, challenge, and exploration hallmarks of the Soulslike genre. It thrives in the eerie shadows of its obvious inspirations and shines a light on its best features by reimplementing most of them with the benefit of the sexy set dressing brought to life in Unreal 5.” We gave the game an 8.
