Slick New Zealand-Made Action Platformer Rose And Locket Release Date Set For Late May

Locked in

New Zealand’s Whistling Wizard and Ninja Kiwi have announced that the PC and Mac release date for the action platformer Rose and Locket has been set for May 27 (May 26 globally).

It’s exciting news, as we’ve been fans of the title ever since we first went hands-on with it back in 2023 at PAX Australia and have been patiently waiting for its release.

This slick side-scrolling adventure sees Rose, a former outlaw gunslinger, fighting for her daughter’s soul after Envy, one of the Seven Deadly Sins, captures it in a locket. To free her, Rose must do what Envy demands, and Envy wants the powers of the remaining six Deadly Sins. Rose heads to the Underwest – the wild west’s underworld – to hunt down the Sins and rescue her daughter’s Soul. And it’s all set in a stunningly vibrant cartoon world, inspired by Samurai Jack.

Are you as excited as we are for Rose and Locket? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
