For people looking forward to PAX Aus 2026 serving up some amazing guest personalities, allow me to formally kick off the hype party with the reveal that one such human being will be none other than World of Warcraft Executive Producer, Holly Longdale.

As Executive Producer of World of Warcraft, Holly leads the charge across one of the most iconic game franchises on the… pic.twitter.com/nbG6hfzoXa
Holly has a magnificent history in games, touting more than 20 years’ experience in the the space of MMORPGs – helping craft and guide huge properties from Disney, Sony Online Entertainment and of course Blizzard. Her time at Blizzard has actually seen her contributing to brand favourites like Warcraft, Diablo and Overwatch, evolving and sustaining some pretty epic games. And at PAX, she will get to explore some career highlights and share the lessons that guided her to where she is today. Maybe she will even drop some EverQuest knowledge on you.
As my own personal admission, I actually had a chance to sit down and chat with Holly back at BlizzCon 2023, so I am uniquely positioned to make mention: The lady rocks. She is every bit as warm and caring as her smile suggests, and the the only thing cooler than her awesome jacket wardrobe are her stories – so keep an eye out for when the Story Time panels are up at PAX and grab a seat. Even if you aren’t a huge MMO player, you are going to get a kick out of hearing how you solve massive gaming problems at ridiculous scale. It’s a fun time.
Do you excited for Holly’s tales at PAX Aus 2026? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
