The Day Before Servers Are Shutting Down In January; Steam Auto Refunding All Purchases

And it’s gone

Servers for the disastrous recently-released The Day Before will be shutting down on January 22, 2024, and all purchases of the game will be automatically refunded, the game’s social media account has confirmed.

The announcement goes on to say that “without a development team, we had no alternative choice but to officially close the project.”

It means that The Day Before will have been live for 45 days before its server closure. A truly wild ending to one of gaming’s craziest stories ever that saw the game’s developer Fntastic shut its doors four days after launch.
