HBO has announced that the upcoming Last of Us TV series will be getting a weekly companion podcast hosted by Troy Baker, the voice actor that portrayed protagonist Joel in the video game.
The inaugural episode of The Last of Us Podcast will release alongside the first episode of the TV series on January 16, with new episodes dropping each Monday thereafter to accompany the new episodes of the series. The podcast will see Baker sit down with series writer Craig Mazin and Naughty Dog Co-President Neil Druckmann as they deep dive into each episode of the show, breaking it down scene by scene.
This is far from the first HBO podcast, with Game of Thrones, Chernobyl and Succession getting a similar treatment.
