Watch Yahtzee Absolutely Rip Into Left Alive

No sneaking out of this shit show Square Enix

Love or loathe him, but game commentator, author and Aussie Mana Bar (RIP you beautiful watering hole) founder Ben ‘Yahztee’ Croshaw more often than not goes right for the jugular on what makes (most) games bad, he isn’t always on point sure, and his ideas are not always going to resonate with everybody – but sometimes he just says the things we are all thinking but not articulate enough to spew the words out.

His latest rampage involves tearing the new stealth title Left Alive from Square Enix a gaping planet sized asshole, and rightly so. Bar the pretty cool art from OG Metal Gear Solid alumni Yoji Shinkawa as well as involvement from the legendary Shinji Hashimoto (Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy) this game has not had a graceful birth into the gaming sphere, recieving nothing but hate for poorly designed missions, trash AI and uninspired storytelling.

That 44% Metacritic score ain’t lying folks, hell that’s even worse than Neverdead, which is actually a feat in itself.

Although he has been gaming since the Sega Mega Drive launched in 1990, he still sucks at most games. When not being trash he watches French horror films, drinks herbal tea and secretly loves the music of Taylor Swift.
