Crytek Announce Hunt: Showdown Closed Alpha Will Begin On January 31

Register your interest now, hunters

German development and publishing team Crytek has announced via their website that their highly anticipated competitive FPS Hunt: Showdown will be entering Closed Alpha on January 31.

Starting on January 31st, a select group of PC gamers will be able to play Hunt: Showdown regularly as part of the game’s Closed Alpha testing phase, via Steam. During Closed Alpha, the Hunt team will be testing gameplay, balancing, and backend functionality, as well as collecting feedback from the community. Closed Alpha testers will be randomly chosen from the sign-up list, and those chosen will receive an email invite.

Players can still register via the game’s official site with invites being sent out in multiple waves.

The game looks very promising and will hopefully be released via Early Access at some point in 2018.
