Monster Hunter: World Releasing On August 10 For PC

Gotta get ready for Palicos at 60fps

Capcom has been fairly quiet when it comes to Monster Hunter: World on PC. We more or less heard that it was going to come to PC when it was originally announced last year at Sony’s E3 press conference but as a part of a staggered release cycle,  with the console version being released on January 29th. This was kind of understandable given that this was the first time Monster Hunter has ever made its way to PC so they’d want to take the time to make sure they got everything right. Well, it seems good things come to those who wait.

This morning, Capcom unveiled details regarding the PC release. Among the things revealed were the minimum specification requirements, the recommended specification requirements, the platform and release date.

Monster Hunter: World will be releasing for the PC via Steam on August 9th (August 10th for us Australians) and will cost $59.99 USD for the standard edition and $70.48 USD for the digital deluxe edition. Currently, that should be around $80.30 AUD and $94.34 AUD, respectively. Unfortunately, it appears that the game will feature the infamous Denuvo DRM software, but aside from that, it looks like they really went all out with catering to the PC platform.
