Alien: Rogue Incursion Is A VR Title That Thinks Xenomorphs Aren’t Scary Enough On A Flat Screen

Developer Survios has announced Alien: Rogue Incursion, a VR title coming to PSVR2, Meta Quest 3 and Steam later this year.

Revealed with a short and familiar trailer, Incursion is set to be the first Alien game in VR, and I can only assume it hasn’t been done before in the interest of public safety. The trailer doesn’t give us much, but thanks to the game’s description on Survios’ website, we know it will be a single-player action-horror game focused on immersion and terror.

If you’ve never played a horror game in VR before, firstly, you probably have healthier blood pressure, and secondly, I’m confident you’ve never experienced a fright in a game like it. I’m willing to admit that Alien: Isolation kept me up at night, so the thought of being hunted by a Xenomorph in virtual reality is horrific.

Will you be brave enough to give Rogue Incursion a crack? Lie to us in the comments or on our social media.
