You Too Could Own The Severed Head Of Shadow The Hedgehog

In LEGO form, of course

San Diego Comic Con 2024 is mere days away, and in the lead up to the event some brands have started to lift the lid on what neat stuff will be display.

For example, LEGO has revealed this nightmarish bust of Shadow the Hedgehog – sitting proudly on its very own plinth, with an expression that is sure to look like it is judging your home décor or cleanliness.

It is a big year for Shadow The Hedgehog – considering he will get his big screen debut in the upcoming Sonic 3 film and is set to helm the re-release of Sonic Generations later this year by way of the Sonic X Shadow Generations glow up, it’s a great year to love dark hedgehogs with air shoes.

But good lord, this LEGO set may haunt my dreams. Sure, it is accurate – but there is just something off-putting about a blocky simulacrum of a humanoid hedgehog cranium. It may just be the angle of these particular promo shots, but the dread resting in the pit of my stomach is easily suppressing any urge to buy.

I will leave it to SDCC attendees to witness the grisly bricks in person and plead a more palatable case. Until then, I will be happy enough with my LEGO Sonic Shadow the Hedgehog Escape playset. It doesn’t have judging eyes.

What do you think of the LEGO Shadow the Hedgehog bust? Would you be more inclined to pick up a Sonic flavoured one? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
