The Sinking City Gets A Creepy New Trailer

Shaving Private Charles

Madness. It’s a common theme in H.P. Lovecraft’s works, the author whose universe is the inspiration for The Sinking City, an open-world investigative action game from Frogwares.  In the latest trailer, titled A Close Shave, we get to see first-hand the disturbing psychological effect that Oakmont is having on our lead protagonist, private investigator Charles W. Reed.

The Sinking City is set during 1920 in the fictional Massachusetts city of Oakmont, which is now laden with water due to a devastating flood that occurred years prior. Charles Reed finds himself in Oakmont trying to escape his past and impending insanity while trying to solve the mystery surrounding the city.

You can watch the latest trailer below:

The Sinking City will release for PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 21, 2019.
