Dust off your pocketwatch and finest bowl hat, Frogwares has announced that Sherlock Holmes The Awakened will release on April 11.
The Awakened is a remake of the 2008 game of the same name, however this time around Frogwares has weaved its new spin on Sherlock Holmes from Chapter One into The Awakened’s Lovecraftian foundations.
Set in 1882, Sherlock and his sidekick Watson investigate a series of mysterious disappearances linked to a dark cult. The ordeal pushes Holmes to the brink, facing otherworldly forces that will lead him to question everything he knows.
I had the chance to preview the game in late January and enjoyed what I played. If you’re a fan of the Sherlock games, especially Chapter One, then you’ll enjoy what The Awakened has to offer.
