The internet has been a little ablaze with rumours and mock ups of what they imagined live-action Sonic the Hedgehog may look like in his upcoming film.
Well, wonder no more – thanks to a leak of an apparent style-guide for the film, we may now know exactly what the blue blur looks like:

As a long time, long suffering Sonic fan, I feel …ambivalent. It’s not how I imagined him, yet also it’s not quite as offensive as I expected. Following the abhorrent release of the live-action Woody Woodpecker film, I had expectations so low I would occasionally trip over them.
Will the film be good? hell, probably not. At the very least I can giddily imagine a tie-in Sonic the Hedgehog game, just for the chuckle-fest that will come from saying “The game, based on the movie, based on the game.’
