It’s a great time to be a classical Final Fantasy fan, with the HD remaster of Final Fantasy VIII out this week and the full-blown remake of Final Fantasy VII kicking off early next year. It’s the latter that we’re celebrating today, being exactly 22 years since the original FFVII’s North American launch.
Square Enix haven’t forgotten either, taking to Twitter to post a Remake-styled homepage to the original game’s most recognisable key art. Check it out:
