April 2024’s PlayStation Plus Catalogue Update Has Been Revealed

A tasty Bantu tale debuts

If you are a fan of diving, blocks or shooting gosh darn magic from your hands, then the latest PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue update may just have you covered. A rich and engaging selection of games are on their way in April, including the full release of Tales of Kenzera: Zau, a powerful 2.5 adventure full of mystical Bantu tales as the young warrior-shaman Amandla seeks out Kalunga, the God of Death, to bargain with him to bring his Baba back from the realm of the dead.

As announced on the PlayStation Blog, this update to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue is coming on April 2.

PlayStation Plus Essential/Extra/Deluxe

  • Immortals of Aveum
  • Minecraft Legends
  • Skul: The Hero Slayer
  • Overwatch 2: The Mega Bundle
    • (includes Beekeeper Sigma Legendary Skin, Art Deco Symmetra Legendary Skin, Runner Sojourn Epic Skin, Punker Queen Junker Queen Epic Skin, Construction Ramattra Epic Skin, Matsuri Kiriko Epic Skin, Cassia Lifeweaver Epic Skin, Amethyst Illari Epic Skin, Rugby Mauga Epic Skin and 5x Battle Pass Tier Skips)

PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe

  • Dave the Diver (April 16)
  • Tales of Kenzera: Zau (Day One Release, April 23)

If you are a fence-sitter of Immortals of Aveum (aren’t we all) then this may be the chance to see exactly what Ascendant Studios was cooking up with the magic shooter – or perhaps you want to enjoy the irony of seeing a Microsoft Studios product on your PlayStation device by launching Minecraft Legends. Failing that, the darling indie-but-not-really-an-indie title Dave the Diver is a sure-fire hit, wading through critically acclaimed responses from all and sundry – if you are one of the few people left on earth who hasn’t donned their wetsuit and grabbed a spear gun, now is the perfect time.

What do you think of this update to the catalogue? What games would you like to see added next? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
