We Interviewed Kofi Kingston From The WWE About His Career, WWE 2K20 And His Future

Chatting to a champ

Whether you love or hate wrestling, there’s no denying that the WWE is a powerful mover and shaker in the sports entertainment world. Every year its events are watched by millions of fans around the world, all buying into the drama-filled storylines that drives what happens in the ring or backstage.

In Melbourne to promote the recently released WWE 2K20, we got a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket opportunity to sit down and chat with the WWE’s first-ever African-born WWE champion, Kofi Kingston – one-third of The New Day faction.

We teamed up with our great mates at The PopCulturists, who just so happen to have a WWE-focused podcast called The Young and the Wrestlers (seriously, give it a listen if you’re into WWE), to speak to the great man about his career so far, WWE 2K20 and what the future holds.

Check it out below:

Big shoutout to Ryan Betson and Jem Edwards from The PopC for being a part of the WellPlayed team for a day and making us proud.
