The LEGO 2K Drive Season 1 Trailer Is Full Of Fast & Furious Fun

Not starring Domi-brick Toretto

LEGO 2K Drive has finally given a glimpse at what awaits people when the first Drive Pass Season drops. Functioning identically to a Battle Pass just with a catchier name, 100 levels will be available to LEGO lovers to unlock 10 Vehicles, 10 Drivers, 6 Flairs, 26 Brick Packs, 8 Sounds, 26 Stickers and more.

Theme wise, it has a certain tone of …family to it. That’s right, Bricklandia’s very own ‘Fast Crew’ will be setting up shop and offering a range of neat new challenges that will be open and free to all.

In a somewhat cool twist, the developers have revealed that each Drive Pass will not function like a Battle Pass might in other titles, scrapping the usual set time limit to snatch up the goodies before they are gone. Only a handful of titles have offered this kind of experience, and I sincerely hope it catches on.

There is also a surprisingly generous amount of free stuff within the Drive Pass for those that do not wish to part with their cashola, with 21 free rewards – such as a ‘Hinged Flaps’ brick pack to soup up your building experience.

While I still feel that LEGO 2K Drive is a little loaded with crash building opportunities, I have to admit that the Drive Pass feels like a pretty stellar deal, even for people who wont be buying it. It’s also handy that the Drive Pass is included in the Awesome Edition and Awesome Rivals Edition – so if you bought a shiny version of the game, you will immediately have access to the earnable goodies when it goes live on June 28.
