The main games I play on my Switch are the kind that you can pick up, smash out for half an hour and then be done with until next time, but this nugget of news is making me think that chipping away at a massive RPG on my lunch breaks might an excellent idea.
THQ Nordic has announced that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will be coming to the Switch on March 16. The original KoA released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC back in 2012 and it received fairly favourable reviews despite not selling all that well. A cult following and an acquisition by THQ Nordic later and we saw a remaster in the form of Re-Reckoning, which freshened up the graphics and included all of the prior released DLC (we gave it a 7.5).
Re-Reckoning originally launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC, but this release will allow the Nintendo folks (and people like myself wanting to play it on the go) to jump in on this very solid RPG. This announcement came alongside a new trailer that shows off what we can expect from this version. Give it a look:
Did you play Kingdoms of Amalur back in 2012? Will you be playing Re-Reckoning on Switch? Let us know.
