So, we all knew that Knuckles the Echidna is going to be in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. What we didn’t know before now was that he is going to be voiced by Idris Elba of The Suicide Squad and Thor fame.
A pretty iconic spiked gloves appeared on the man’s twitter feed today, in a rather telling reveal:

Further backed up by the official Sonic the Hedgehog twitter retweeting it and mentioning that the announcement should “punch things up a bit”:
