PlayStation Celebrates Horizon Forbidden West Launch With Huge Dinosaur Statue In Sydney

Can you pet the Clawstrider?

PlayStation has celebrated the launch of Horizon Forbidden West with a huge mechanical robot dinosaur statue in Sydney.

The statue is of a Clawstrider, one of Forbidden West’s more dangerous machines. Standing seven metres by 3 metres, people can view the statue at Sydney’s Royal Botanic Garden until February 22. Sydney is just one of 17 locations worldwide to get a Clawstrider statue.

Those who are able to visit the Clawstrider will have the opportunity to win either a replica of Aloy’s spear or a collector’s edition of the game.

We scored Forbidden West a 9/10 in our review, stating that the game is “An expansive, beautiful and engrossing new adventure that deepens the series’ lore while doubling down on what made the original such a classic.”

If you’re in Sydney, are you going to check out the Clawstrider? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
