Shin Megami Tensei Spin-off Soul Hackers 2 Announced For August

SMT fans eating good lately

After days of Atlus teasing a reveal for something related to Soul Hackers via a countdown website and Twitter, an official sequel to 1997’s Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers has been revealed for a worldwide release on August 26, 2022.

With a new cast and switch to a 3rd-person perspective, Soul Hackers 2 looks the business with stylish anime-adjacent art and a returning bestiary of series famous demons.

The original Soul Hackers first made its way to the West in 2012 on the Nintendo 3DS. Unusually for Atlus, Nintendo owners are getting the shaft in favour of Playstation 5 & 4, Xbox Series S|X, and Steam.
