Last Week We Saw Terminator And RoboCop Games, Now We Have An Aliens Game

Are we living in the most thrilling timeline, or what

As a huge fan of 80’s films, these last few weeks are starting to feel like a fever dream. A new “intense single-player, action horror game” set in between the events of Alien and Aliens? Be still, my terrified heart.

Developer Survios announced the title is being developed in partnership with 20th Century Games – mentioning that it will be targeting PC, Consoles and even VR.

While details at this point are relatively thin, we are told that more information will information will be coming as part of the San Diego Comic Con panel experience “Alien: Expanding a Dark and Frightening Universe”, due July 21.

Curiously, this leaves some fans justifiably frustrated that we are yet to see any inclination towards a sequel to 2014’s Alien: Isolation – an admittedly amazing pants shitting simulator that definitely left itself with an ending that suggested more to come.

Still, after the shemozzle that was Aliens: Colonial Marines it’s fantastic to see the Alien franchise making huge, fun strides.
