Collaboration Between Australian Hip Hop Artists And NBA 2K23 Announced

Three-pointer

A couple of days ago, 2K announced Court in Session – a partnership between its popular basketball video game NBA 2K23 and Universal Music Australia that showcases the talents of Australian hip-hop artists Chillinit, Sahxl, and Barkaa with a basketball twist.

The Court in Session recordings sees the artists use sounds from the game, such as bouncing balls and shoe squeaks, to create unique tracks with film clips directed by twice ARIA-nominated, Gabriel Gasparinatos.

Hip-hop has been a huge part of the NBA 2K experience, so it makes sense that the game would give back to the hip-hop community.

What do you make of the three tracks? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
