2K has announced NBA 2K23, unveiling that Michael Jordan is the cover athlete for the game’s two special editions: the Michael Jordan Edition and the Championship Edition.
The 14-time NBA All-Star will be gracing the cover of the two special editions of 2K23, which seems only right considering his number was 23. These two covers won’t be the only Jordan-themed influence seen in 2K23, as The Jordan Challenge returns to the series for the first time since 2K11. This mode has players attempting to recreate 15 of Jordan’s most famous moments throughout his career, with ten of them being recreated from 2K11 and the remaining five being completely new.
The Championship Edition will also allow basketball fans to watch the action unfold on the court as it will include a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass, giving players access to watch all NBA games live. We still don’t know the full contents of these two editions, but more info will be revealed later this week.
