The next season of Overwatch 2 is landing smack bang in the spooky season, so you can bet it has all the right hallmarks to be a bone chiller.
Titled “Rise of Darkness”, the creepy crawly teaser trailer showcases some skins and content expectations, with a peek at what may be the newest Halloween event content that will be coming:
While the trailer is due to premiere on October 5, watching the 18 second sizzle reel on YouTube reveals a few things, such as:
- A spooky version of the Blizzard World map
- Zomnic NPCs running around the above Blizzard World variant
- Diablo-esque portals
- Some kind of terrifying Wrecking Ball skin
- A spectacular Moira skin that is clearly design after Diablo IV’s Lilith
This all points to some fun and unique adventures to be had when the full season launches early this month. I positively love Moira, and that skin has my name written all over it.
