Mambo Is Joining Forces With Marvel To Update The Beloved Farting Dog Shirt

There are other designs as well, but how good is the farting dog

Cult Aussie brand Mambo Australia has joined forces with Marvel for a limited-edition range of killer clothing with designs done by Mambo artist legends Nathan Sheahan and Ben Brown.

With a host of classic characters done in a suuuper classic art style, it’s a great crossover of Aussie artistry and retro-comic book goodness:

Both Nathan Sheahan and Ben Brown have an awesome artistic pedigree that speaks deeply to that amazing Mambo attitude. Newcastle-based Nathan even commented, “If you told 10-year-old me that I’d be paid to draw Spider-Man one day, I’d lose it.” And it’s clearly a good match, because Ben’s Wolverine art is intensely perfect. Seriously, take a squiz at that skeleton.

The best part is that this range isn’t going to be locked away in some exclusive online marketplace – it’s going to be on the shelves at your local Big W!

There are nine works available across a range of clothing types – including an updated version of the original “Farting Dog” piece by Richard Allan – so you can shop for new graphic tees, hoodies, and bedtime boxers online via Big W here.

Are you a classic Mambo head that also loves Marvel? Interested in getting some Aussie-proud retro duds? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
