Nintendo has announced that a Nintendo Direct Showcase will be taking place at 12am AEST on June 22.
So yes, technically, that means it’s happening tomorrow, but it’s midnight, so give me a break. While many of us figured that the big red Mario machine would be opting out of the June Summer Game Fest period, they’ve gone ahead and announced a girthy direct at the last minute.
This showcase will run for 40 minutes and will apparently focus “mainly on Nintendo Switch titles launching this year.” A special shoutout was also given to Pikmin 4, so we can expect a spotlight on Olimar towards the end of the show.
Tune in on June 21 at 7:00 a.m. PT for a #NintendoDirect livestream featuring roughly 40 minutes of information focused mainly on Nintendo Switch titles launching this year, including new details on Pikmin 4.
