Aussie-Made Eldritch Horror Elden: Path of the Forgotten Gets A Release Date

We’d almost forgotten this game was coming

One of the games that caught my eye at PAX Australia last year was Elden: Path of the Forgotten – a pixelated Dark Souls-inspired take on eldritch horror. Now it wasn’t just the Lovecraft influence that intrigued me, it was also the fact that it’s being developed by one man, Dylan Walker, also known as Onerat Games.

Initially the game was scheduled to launch in February 2020, but that date came and went without the game’s launch. Thankfully, we now have a release date, with the game’s publisher Another Indie announcing that Elden will launch on July 9 for PC (Utomik and Steam) and the Nintendo Switch. PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will come at a later date.
