Lone Pine, the point-and-click adventure from Brisbane’s developer Bang Bang Bang Interactive, is getting a demo on March 25.
Scheduled to release in 2026, Lone Pine sees you play as Izzie, an outdoor enthusiast and aspiring photographer who has travelled to the Lone Pine National Park to snap its mysterious cryptids on camera. However, Izzie is left stranded when a storm hits, and soon after she discovers that things in Lone Pine are not what they seem, but can she uncover the mystery while finding her way home?
While the game is inspired by real-life folklore and mythology, Bang Bang Bang Interactive tells me that Lone Pine is influenced by Oxenfree, Firewatch, and Return to Monkey Island. Three winners that’s for sure.
The demo will take place in Lone Pine’s first section, giving them a sense of its story, gameplay, and atmosphere. Bang Bang Bang Interactive says there will be many secrets and hidden interactions throughout. It will unlock on March 25 at 3am AEDT (March 24, 8pm PT).
If you’re keen to check out the demo later this month, you can add the game to your Wishlist.
Will you take a stroll through Lone Pine? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
