Ball Guy From Pokémon Sword And Shield Teases Twitter With Exploding Poké Balls

It’s raining Poké Balls

The Pokémon Company has been quite creative with its updates for Pokémon Legends Arceus, with the game’s January 28, 2022 release not far away. Yesterday on Twitter, the Pokémon Company tweeted a message from the iconic Pokémon Sword and Shield Ball Guy NPC that he’d dropped all his Poké Balls in excitement for the new game. If you click the link in the Tweet below you are taken to the Legends Arceus website which proceeds to be covered with falling Poké Balls. If we help him out we will be rewarded with a ‘surprise’.

The ‘surprise’ looks similar to these Poké Balls and explodes if you touch it, which is also seen on the website.

While the final reveal hasn’t happened yet, I bet my Pokédollars that this is foreshadowing the impending announcement of a Hisuian form of Voltorb/Electrode, or if we’re really lucky a brand new evolution. Stay tuned for the final reveal.

Are you excited for Legends Arceus and have you liked the new Hisuian Pokémon so far? Let us know who is your favourite in the comments below or on our social media.
