The Pokémon Company has been quite creative with its updates for Pokémon Legends Arceus, with the game’s January 28, 2022 release not far away. Yesterday on Twitter, the Pokémon Company tweeted a message from the iconic Pokémon Sword and Shield Ball Guy NPC that he’d dropped all his Poké Balls in excitement for the new game. If you click the link in the Tweet below you are taken to the Legends Arceus website which proceeds to be covered with falling Poké Balls. If we help him out we will be rewarded with a ‘surprise’.
Hey there! It’s your mate, the Ball Guy!
Trainers, since we are such good friends, I have a favor to ask.
I was so excited to tweet that I dropped all my Poké Balls! Would you please help me pick them up?
I dropped them all here! https://t.co/FvZVXIejCp pic.twitter.com/MwpZpuz7oA

The ‘surprise’ looks similar to these Poké Balls and explodes if you touch it, which is also seen on the website.
Friends, there is…something I may have forgotten to mention.
Do you remember that surprise I told you about?
Well…if you touch it, it will self-destruct.
So, please be careful while picking up my Poké Ball collection! https://t.co/FvZVXIejCp

While the final reveal hasn’t happened yet, I bet my Pokédollars that this is foreshadowing the impending announcement of a Hisuian form of Voltorb/Electrode, or if we’re really lucky a brand new evolution. Stay tuned for the final reveal.
