And just like that, Nintendo has dropped the release date for the much-anticipated Bayonetta 3, a game that you’d be forgiven for thinking was never coming out.
In a bonkers 3-minute trailer, patient fans have been treated to a cavalcade of new story and gameplay footage to pore over while they wait for the game’s launch on October 28, 2022 exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Yep, there’s another big title coming in October.
You can pre-order the game digitally right here.
Alongside the release date announcement, a special Trinity Masquerade Edition of the game was revealed and is confirmed to be coming to Australia, though we don’t have specific retail info just yet. There’s also going to be a newly-minted physical release of the original Bayonetta launching later in the year, a first for the Switch as it was only released as a digital download either via the eShop or a special Bayonetta/Bayonetta 2 bundle:
A physical edition of the first Bayonetta game will also launch later this year. Stay tuned for more info! pic.twitter.com/kzEL3DEJR9
