Best Of The Kinda Funny Games E3 2019 Showcase

Indies, Indies, Indies!

When you think E3, you most likely think of all the big companies coming in and throwing their money everywhere with big stage conferences, celebrity appearances and the biggest upcoming AAA titles.

Luckily, the team over at Kinda Funny have come in to support all the indie titles that may have fallen through the cracks if they were at those events. Showcasing over sixty games, there is something for any type of gamer.

Here are seven games (in no particular order) that stood out to us during the showcase!

Skate Bird

Developer: Glass Bottom Games | Release: 2020

This adorable game is a game about trying your best. Play as tiny birds (wearing cute hats) who are trying to skate in a landscape made up of office supplies.

Superliminal

Developer: Pillow Castle | Release: Coming Soon

Get ready to question your perception of reality in this puzzle title that gives off some serious The Stanley Parable vibes.

Lonely Mountains: Downhill

Developer: Megagon Industries | Release: 2019

It’s just you and your bike as you cruise down treacherous slopes at high speeds, racing towards the finish line. Just try not to stack it big time along the way.

Wave Break

Developer: Funktronic Labs | Release: Q1 2020

Jet skis, synthwave music, guns and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater influenced skating and tricks. If that combo isn’t enough to get you interested, then I don’t know if we can be friends anymore.

If you want to see the entire roster of games that were shown off, then check out the full showcase over on Kinda Funny Games.
