BROK The InvestiGator Smashes Onto Consoles On March 1

Get ready to crocodile rock on consoles

BROK the InvestiGator, the self-proclaimed “punch-and-click” from solo developer COWCAT will hit PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and the Nintendo Switch on March 1.

Set in a futuristic city where animals have replaced humans, players assume the role of the titular Brok, a boxer-turned-detective alligator, who takes what appears to be a simple job but one that is far more alarming than first thought.

What makes BROK unique is that it combines point-and-click and beat ’em up mechanics to create an experience unlike any other adventure game. But BROK is more than just brawns and brains, with its story telling a rather emotional and relatable narrative of a step-father struggling with raising a child since the death of his wife. Couple that with an art style that resembles 90s cartoons and you’ve got quite the heterogeneous game on your hands.

I honestly cannot recommend BROK highly enough – I scored it a 9 in my review when the game initially launched on PC in August 2022, saying that “The mix of point-and-click and beat ‘em up gameplay with a 90s cartoon aesthetic makes BROK the InvestiGator a unique adventure game that should not be missed.”
