Spanish studio Path Games has announced Dark Mass, a first-person horror game set underwater coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC soon.
Announced during the Future Games Show: Live from GDC showcase, Dark Mass sees siblings and deep-sea explorers Alice and Reed come across the wreckage of an ancient ship, but beneath it rests a sunken manor, mysteriously preserved despite laying at the bottom of the ocean for centuries.
Playing as Alice, players will explore the manor, only to realise they’re not alone. Solve ritualistic puzzles to uncover the truth behind the manor, but you’ll need to avoid Silas – an evil entity who stalks the manor in search of his next victim.
As someone who enjoys first-person horror games, I like what I’ve seen of Dark Mass so far. I’ll definitely be adding this one to my Wishlist.
