Developer Dambuster Studios and publisher Deep Silver have announced that Dead Island 2 has been delayed and will now release on April 28, 2023.
A statement posted to the game’s Twitter account explains that the development on the game is “on the final straight now,” but the team need extra time to ensure that the launch is one that the team is proud of. The Tweet opens with, “The irony of delaying Dead Island 2 is not lost on us,” so thankfully, the team is in good spirits about the 12-week pushback.
