Fair Warning, The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom’s Final Trailer Might Cause Anticipation-Related Injuries

Tears of the Fanbase

The final pre-release trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom dropped this morning ahead of the game’s launch on May 12.

While those excited for Link’s next Hyrule adventure don’t need any further convincing, the latest trailer for Tears of the Kingdom is filled with so much hype that I’m worried for fans’ safety.

The four-minute trailer packs in a huge amount of drama and action, cutting between cinematics and gameplay throughout. We see our silent protagonist peacefully traversing the varied land of Hyrule before Hetsu’s Gift hits the fan. I could try and explain everything, frame by frame, but it’s worth watching for yourself. Just know that Ganondorf looks like a boss, Zelda is sporting a new do, and there’s a three-headed bloody dragon!
