Firewatch Coming To Xbox One

Pack your bags Xbox One owners, you’re off to Shoshone National Forest

If you haven’t already heard, Campo Santo announced late this week that their cult hit, Firewatch would be releasing for Xbox One on September 21st (possibly Sept.22nd for Australia). It was also announced that existing and future owners would be receiving a new (free, yay) DLC titled Firewatch Audio Tour, which Campo Santo described as: ‘one part scavenger hunt, one part museum tour, one part game dev workshop, mixed with a dash of inside Campo Santo goofs.’

The goodies don’t end there, it was also revealed that a new mode, titled Free-Roam, which will enable players to explore and discover extra secrets of Shoshone during its night and day cycle. Free-roam will be coming to Xbox One first.

We rated the first-person exploration title and in our review (you can read the full review here) we described it as:

A visually-striking emotional adventure that you experience vicariously through the game’s main character. It requires more thinking than doing, and where some will find it humdrum others will find it enthralling

Check out the game’s September 2016 trailer below:
