Forza Horizon 4 Demo Out Today As The Game Goes Gold

One of Microsoft’s big-ticket games this year, Forza Horizon 4, has just gone gold ahead of its impending release on September 28th for people who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition (October 2nd for those who didn’t). This means that the game is being pressed on to the retail discs and is in its final stages of preparation for the digital release. So how does one celebrate this? Well with the newly released Forza Horizon 4 Demo, which is available for both PC and Xbox One on their respective online stores.

For those playing PC these are your minimum and recommended specifications:

Minimum specs (targeted at 720p 60fps):

  • OS: Windows 10 x64 version 15063.0 or higher
  • CPU Intel Core i3-4170 @ 3.7GHz or AMD FX-6120 @ 3.5GHz
  • Memory: 8GB
  • GPU: GeForce GT 740 or Radeon R7 250X
  • Storage: 28.08GB

Recommended specs (targeted at 1080p 60fps):

  • OS: Windows 10 x64 version 15063.0 or higher
  • Intel Core i7-3820 @ 3.6GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1400 @ 3.5GHz
  • Memory: 12GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 470 4GB
  • Storage: 28.08GB

There’s also the newly announced Best of Bond Car Pack which will be the day one car pack for the full release of Forza Horizon 4. It is included as part of the Ultimate Edition and will playable during the early access period. The pack features 10 cars from the James Bond films like Goldfinger and Skyfall. Here’s the full list:

  • 1964 Aston Martin DB5 inspired by Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), GoldenEye (1995), Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015)
  • 1969 Aston Martin DBS from On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969)
  • 1974 AMC Hornet X Hatchback from The Man With the Golden Gun (1974)
  • 1977 Lotus Esprit S1 from The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
  • 1981 Citroën 2CV6 from For Your Eyes Only (1981)
  • 1986 Aston Martin V8 from The Living Daylights (1987)
  • 1999 BMW Z8 from The World is Not Enough (1999)
  • 2008 Aston Martin DBS from Quantum of Solace (2008)
  • 2010 Jaguar C-X75 from Spectre (2015)
  • 2015 Aston Martin DB10 from Spectre (2015)

These cars will also feature film-inspired gadgets which can be viewable while in the Forzavista mode. In addition to all of this, people who own the car pack will also receive some in-game Bond items which includes two Bond outfits as well as six exclusive “Quick Chat” phrases which may be used in multiplayer.
