God Of War Ragnarök DLC Could Be On The Way

Prepare your grain of salt

A new rumour has surfaced that suggests that Santa Monica Studio may well be creating DLC for God Of War Ragnarök.

Appearing on social media, a well known user with the name The Snitch made mention that Ragnarök DLC is “on the way”, with very little else to clarify.

That means that most of the weight behind this statement is simply from the track record of Snitchy-poo, who has quite the history of dropping accurate scoops in the past.

The plausibility of such a suggestion is believable enough, given that the title sold incredibly well. There are also a number of believable character opportunities to explore, so perhaps they could deliver something a little like Spider-Man: Miles Morales to eke a little more life out of the Ragnarök audience.

The sticky part is that we have zero real indication from Santa Monica Studio regarding any validity in the statement – made doubly awkward by the fact that the games’ director Eric Williams even said that DLC wasn’t likely.

Of course, minds can change – and where the is passion and money, minds can change reliably. Best to keep your expectations low, but it is a fun little rumour to entertain for now.

Would you be keen for some more God of War action? How did you find Ragnarök? (We gave it a 9) Let us know in the comments or on social media.
