GTA VI Could Be Revealed As Soon As This Week According To A New Report

You heard it first on The Fix

A new report from Bloomberg suggests that the next instalment of Rockstar’s long-running Grand Theft Auto series will be revealed in the very near future.

The man with more scoops than an ice cream parlour, Jason Schreier, penned the Bloomberg article that claims Rockstar is looking to make an official announcement “next month.” Sources that are “familiar” with the plans surrounding GTA VI say that Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive have plans to reveal that highly anticipated game in tandem with Rockstar’s 25th anniversary, which falls in December.

While hints and teases may come later this week, Bloomberg’s sources advise that the reveal will be in the form of an announcement trailer, which is standard, and will likely set the internet on fire. The game itself has been in the public eye for some time now, with Rockstar openly admitting that it was in development back in February of 2022, but this would be the first substantial official look at the game yet.

Of course, there was plenty of controversy surrounding a huge leak in September last year, that showed off early concepts and gameplay, but none of that was anywhere near final, not should it factor into hype levels and whatnot. Don’t talk about it though, because Rockstar might just silence you, Trevor style.
