Hogwarts Legacy Gets A Dark New Trailer And Two Collector’s Editions

Warner Bros. Games has unveiled a new trailer for Hogwarts Legacy, showcasing the darker side of the game.

Presented during Gamescom Opening Night Live, this new trailer focuses on the companion quest line tethered to your fellow schoolmate, Sebastian Sallow. Delving into Sallow’s family lineage and the darker element of the wizarding world, the player will be faced with choices that will see them embrace or reject the Dark Arts.

Within the trailer, we see the player and Sebastian battling against skeletons and other nasty creatures, while dealing with the unforgivable curse, Crucio.

Alongside this new trailer, the physical editions for Hogwarts Legacy were also announced. There are two different editions to choose from, ranging from the massive and expensive, down to the DLC heavy.

The Collector’s Edition will be exclusive to EB Games in Australia and will set you back $499.95, with pre-orders starting tomorrow. This whopper will contain:

Taking a step away from the flashy physical items, we have the Deluxe Edition, which sits at $129.95 through EB Games or $109 at JB HiFi.

Hogwarts Legcay releases on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on February 10. Those who purchase the Collector’s or Deluxe Editions will get early access to the game on February 7. A Switch version will also be available at a later date.
