Developer Indiesruption and publisher Blowfish Studios have announced that Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness will release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC on October 17.
Coming from Argentinian developer Indiesruption, Vlad Circus is a horror-themed adventure game that sees the player control distressed clown Oliver Mills as he attempts to survive while uncovering a gruesome mystery. Set in the 1920s, after a freaky circus met a grisly end at the hands of a raging fire, players will traverse macabre 2D pixel-art environments, interacting with a host of colourful and creepy characters, solving puzzles along the way.

We demoed Vlad Circus during PAX 2022, and it left quite the impression on our very own James Wood, who said “It’s hard to fully explain just how well Vlad Circus creates its atmosphere, but its pixel-art perfection and sombre tone made for a unique and intriguing time.”
