I can’t believe it’s already December, but it’s time for another Nintendo Indie World Showcase and what’s likely the last Direct for the year! Here’s a recap of all the announcements:
- Spelunky 1 and 2 are coming to Nintendo Switch in Winter 2021, with local multiplayer in Spelunky 1 and local and online in Spelunky 2.
- Fisti-Fluffs is a game full of crazy cats that duke it out to be the best feline fighter while their owners are away. You can even dress them up and play locally or online! Releasing in early 2021.
- In Very Very Valet you need to drive, park and retrieve cars in this crazy party game with up to three other players. A timed exclusive on Switch, Very Very Valet is releasing in early 2021.
- Tunche is a hack and slash beat-em up with a really great hand-drawn art style and set within the Amazon rainforest. Born out of a successful Kickstarter. Releasing first on Nintendo Switch in March 2021.
- Cyber Shadow is a retro action platformer in futuristic levels where you need to defeat apocalyptic bosses and learn ninja skills. You can scan in Shovel Knight Amiibo in the Switch version to get some help from a familiar friend. Coming to Nintendo Switch on January 26, 2021.
- Calico allows you to open your dream cat cafe and fill it with yummy treats and furniture to fulfil your dreams. Launching later today!
- In Alba: A Wildlife Adventure you set out to save your island in this visually stunning Mediterranean paradise. Releasing in Autumn 2021
- Gnosia is an Among Us styled virtual novel with spunky character designs coming to Switch in early 2021.
- Happy Game is a psychedelic horror game about a young boy who experiences a whole crazy array of nightmare puzzles. Releasing Autumn 2021.
- Super Meat Boy Forever is finally coming out, with 1000’s of levels, boss fights and tonnes of secrets. A console launch exclusive on Switch, Super Meat Boy Forever is releasing on December 23.
- Grindstone is a crazy puzzle battle game with daily challenges, unlockables and more. Another console launch exclusive on Nintendo Switch, the game is also releasing later today.
- Now its time for some headlines: When The Past Was Around (Releasing Later today), Kosmokrats (March 2021), Hoa (April 2021), Hazel Sky (March 2021), Trash Sailors (Autumn 2021), and Finding Paradise (Autumn 2021).
- Among Us is launching on Nintendo Switch later today!
