KarmaZoo Is A Ten-Player Multiplayer Platformer All About On Cooperation And Kindness

Partner up to platform

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Pastagames have announced Karma Zoo, a multiplayer platformer coming to consoles and PC later this year.

Developed by Paris-based Pastagames, Karma Zoo is a cooperative multiplayer platformer that supports up to ten players. Featuring a beautiful pixel art style, players will control one of 50 unique animal avatars, each with their own ability, as they work together with friends or complete strangers to traverse and complete over 300 platforming courses.

In the cooperative Loop mode, up to ten players will stick together to overcome puzzles and progress through levels and earn Karma, a resource that multiplies when you work as a team. No one player can make it to the end alone, as a player’s aura will fade and be snuffed out when away from their teammates, incentivising cooperation and kindness.

In the Totem mode, up to eight players will go head-to-head in various minigames to scratch that competitive itch. Whether it be racing through an obstacle course as raptors or climbing a tower as living cacti, the Totem mode will shake out any pent-up frustration from an unsuccessful Loop mode run.

KarmaZoo will release on consoles and PC later in 2023.
