Koei Tecmo Europe announced today the release of GUST’s new IP, Nights of Azure on 1st April 2016.
In the fictional kingdom of Ruswal, an uncharted island where nights are plagued by azure-blooded demons, the beautiful protagonist, Arnice, is called to protect humans and be guardian to the priestess Lilysse. Growing in power, Arnice can summon Servans to assist her in battle and discovers she can transform into a demon herself in order to protect her charge.
Despite Arnice’s strength, she soon discovers that the solution to the island’s problems might not be as simple as defeating enemies in battle.
Under the direction of Keisuke Kikuchi (Fatal Frame, Deception IV), Nights of Azure marks a new, darker direction for GUST while maintaining many of the gameplay elements adored by dedicated fans of the studio. Nights of Azure is a tragic tale of two friends faced with impossible decisions that will test their loyalty to their quest and to each other.
DYEGB’s own Jordan Garcia has reviewed the title and gave it a lot of praise.
Although he has been gaming since the Sega Mega Drive launched in 1990, he still sucks at most games. When not being trash he watches French horror films, drinks herbal tea and secretly loves the music of Taylor Swift.
