Macabre Is An Aussie-Made Co-Op Horror Game That Looks Super Promising

Sydney-based developer Weforge Studio has shown off an impressive new trailer for its upcoming co-op stealth extraction horror game Macabre during today’s PC Gaming Show, giving players the best look at that title.

In the trailer we see a group of lost campers come across a recluse named Banjo, who gives the group a device called The Atomic Space Shifter, which seemingly allows them to jump between different realities and banish entities. It looks unique and spooky, and I am here for it.

“People all around the world know Australia to be a dangerous place. Our goal is to reinforce this stereotype by showing we also have cunning interdimensional beings that will stop at nothing to tear you apart,” said Jay Topping, Creative Director and Co-founder of Weforge Studio.

Weforge confirmed that a single-player demo will be available soon and that the game will launch in Early Access, with a date still to be announced. You can wishlist the game on Steam here.
